A Little Retail Therapy Can't Hurt...

Is it time for a giveaway? Me thinks it's time for a giveaway.

Clearly, Ben thinks this is a good idea. Especially if this giveaway involves carrots. Which it doesn't. At least not this time. Sorry Ben.

CSN Stores, bless their hearts, likes the blog. I like their store and I like you too. There's a lot of like in the room right now. I'm getting a bad case of couch envy looking at their sectional sofas. If only my cozy little house weren't so...cozy. I'd sign right up for one of those. And their kitchen store...*drool*.

So how about a $60 gift certificate to CSN Stores? You can buy a whole lotta kitchen gear for $60. Or baby clothes. Or couches...ok, maybe not, but you could at least pick up a cushion or something.

Interested? Just leave a comment. Tell me what's for dinner tonight, your summer plans, your hopes and dreams for the future of our children...or just how much you'd like to have $60 for a little online shopping spree.

We'll wrap it up Wednesday night at 9 pm, I'll announce the randomly selected winner by the end of the week. Good luck, my lovely readers!

  1. Okay, I'll start off the comments since I like your little blog too, and I like a good giveaway. Thanks. Oh, and dinner tonight ... good question. I've gotta get some groceries, but I know a bike ride is on the agenda.

  2. Beth, I am not familiar with the CVS stores. I have now popped into their site, and know I will go back with a more serious attitude. Thanks so much for enlightening me. Yes, I would love to win the gift certificate. Thanks. Susan

  7. So I have never been to the CSN store. Thanks for the tip! I could spend that cash in two seconds since we just bought our first home and need lots of cute things to decorate our walls. On a side note-I heard you were on Doug Leier's show last weekend. He's our new neighbor....such a great family!

  14. Yay! A giveaway!!

Um...dinner tonight? Well, considering I work and won't get home till 7 it will probably be chips and salsa after I put the kids to bed. If I get really crazy I might add some cheese, tomatoes, sour cream, black beans, etc...but usually I'm too tired to go through all that work!

  16. I would love to have Tuna Casserole tonight, but that will never happen as no one in my family likes it except for me. So, I will work late, heat up leftover spaghetti when I get home and be thankful that I got extra hours so I can take a vacation in Santa Fe in the fall.

  17. Dinner tonight was leftover roasted tomato soup with grilled cheese croutons. I needed to make another grilled cheese to have the croutons, because the ones from yesterday mysteriously disappeared. Opportunities for kitchen gear are always good ones. What's for dinner tonight in your neck of the woods?

  19. Um, summer plans include biking 600 miles back to DC, with a few farming and cooking stops along the way. I met a guy recently who said that after more than a year on a bike, I must've had enough time to work out a cure for cancer and diabetes and solved the energy crisis... I don't know if I'll have a final solution to these before getting home. But I would look forward to an excuse to do a little kitchen shopping. In fact, I am in desperate need of a food dehydrator.... A $60 certificate would give me such an excuse. ;)

  21. Beth, I love your blog, as you know. I also love fresh basil, which I am planning to add to some pasta sauce tonight, and then toss some chicken in with that. Good? We'll see. Can't go wrong with basil, butter & pasta, I figure.
